By creating a venue for performances, studio showings, pitches, and networking, The DEN contributes to promoting works by dance artists based in Norway to international and national curators, producers, and industry organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The project has been running for five years and consists of three main elements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"26\" data-end=\"207\">To be a showcase for Norwegian dance, a platform where dance artists based in Norway can present their works and projects to international and national organizers and producers.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"326\">To offer seminars and knowledge development for producers, artists, and organizers in the independent dance field.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"327\" data-end=\"525\" data-is-last-node=\"\">To facilitate informal networking opportunities, such as coffee breaks and table pitching, where artists and organizers meet to exchange interests and ideas in an inclusive and relaxed atmosphere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The DEN \u2013 Dance Expo Norway is a platform for sharing Norwegian dance art and will be held for the fifth time in 2025. The project received support from the Arts Council Norway and the City of Oslo for a three-year period. In 2023, CODA continued the platform without new funding, but in collaboration with Dansens Hus, B\u00e6rum Kulturhus, Black Box Teater, and with support from Performing Arts Hub Norway.
